We believe deeply in caring for all creatures great and small, not just for our own pups who benefit from our products, but also for the fur babies in need across the globe. That’s why we’re so proud to share that this September, we made a special donation to Stichting Adopt.nl.
Who is Stichting Adopt.nl?
Stichting Adopt.nl is a non-profit organisation based in the Netherlands, with a very clear and compassionate mission: to rescue stray animals in Turkey and rehome them in European countries, to help every animal find the loving home they truly deserve.
Since 2021, their amazing team have helped to rehome over 136 stray animals into the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Czech Republic.
Their inspiring work involves volunteer teams who rescue animals, make sure they are vaccinated and spayed and neutered, and arrange transport from Turkey to the Netherlands. Once they arrive in the Netherlands, they stay in foster homes until the perfect match for their forever homes are found.
These are the kind of heartbreaking yet hopeful and also heartwarming stories that drive our brand: animals who have spent time on the streets, possibly traumatised and not knowing what real love feels like, that have now been given a second chance at life. When we heard about their work, we knew we wanted to help in any way that we could.
What we donated

Calming Blankets to bring warmth, comfort and a sense of security to the fur babies who may feel anxious, unsettled or simply in need of a little extra calm.

Original Calming Beds to provide a soothing, safe place for them to rest, relax, and recover.
These products were chosen with care, reflecting the path many Adopt NL rescues take as they travel, adjust, and begin their journey to feel safe and loved.
Why it matters
The feeling of comfort and security are part of the healing process, both physically and emotionally, for animals that have lived their lives on the streets. They often arrive in their new environment feeling vulnerable and frightened. A comfortable bed and a soothing blanket can help them to relax, to trust, and to feel what kindness truly feels like.
By providing these items, we’re not just helping with physical comfort; we’re supporting emotional recovery. We’re helping to create a space where these sweet souls can finally unwind, feel safe, and begin to believe that they are home. And when they are calmer and more settled, their foster families and adoption processes go much more smoothly—which means more successful transitions, fewer returned pets, and ultimately, more lives saved.

Here are some ways you can help to support Adopt NL:

Donate: Adopt NL welcomes donations to help fund their rescue operations in Turkey, and transport and care for the animals once they arrive in the Netherlands.

Adopt or foster: If you live in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium or Czech Republic, you might consider adopting a rescued dog or cat. Or become a foster parent to help them settle in before they find their furever home!

Volunteer as a flight buddy: Volunteers who can help transport animals from Turkey to the Netherlands for rehoming.

Spread the word: Share Adopt NL’s mission on social media, encourage others to support, and help build awareness of international stray-animal rescue efforts.
