They can't tell us when the heat is becoming too much. They can't say when they're uncomfortable, overstimulated, or struggling to cool down. But if you know your dog, you can see it. The heavy panting. The constant moving from spot to spot. The way they look for the coldest corner of the room just to get comfortable.
Maya made me notice all of it.
