At the heart of every animal shelter lies a simple yet powerful mission: to offer love, safety, and hope to animals who need it most. As passionate advocates for animal well-being, this July, we donated to DOA, the largest and second-oldest animal shelter in the Netherlands.
This July, as part of our ongoing commitment to helping shelter animals in need, we donated Calming Beds, Orthopedic Beds, and Cooling Mats to DOA. Providing a calm and cozy (also cooling!) place to rest can make a world of difference in their recovery, physical and emotional well-being.
Why DOA?
DOA cares for around 2,000 dogs and cats each year, offering them shelter, medical attention, and most importantly, love. Their dedicated team works tirelessly to rehabilitate animals, match them with loving adopters, and provide a second chance to those who may have experienced trauma or neglect.
Their mission deeply resonates with us here at Pelsbarn. By providing cozy beds, we hope to ease the transition for the dogs in their care and support the staff in creating a safe and nurturing environment.
