This Halloween, our Pelsbarn community showed just how powerful kindness and compassion can be. With your support, Halloween was made into a moment of hope for animals in need by partnering with PAWS Shelter of Central Texas, and together, we made a real difference.
Who Are PAWS
PAWS Shelter of Central Texas is a no‑kill animal shelter that started rescuing animals and saving lives in 1986. They believe that every animal deserves a second chance: homeless, abandoned, or abused dogs and cats are welcomed into their care, provided with medical attention, shelter, and love. At PAWS, they are given as much time as they need until they find their forever homes.
What We Donated
We are so excited to share that, because of your amazing support, for with every purchase made on Halloween, $1 went directly to PAWS Shelter. Thanks to you, our community donated $1,024. That donation helps with vaccines, medical care, spay/neuter operations, microchips, shelter supplies, full bowls of food.
Why It Matters
Your support helped PAWS continue their inspiring work. For many animals, being rescued from the streets or from neglect is only the very first step. From there they may need vaccinations, sterilization, behavioral assessments, or even long‑term care if they’ve been abandoned or abused.
Thanks to your help, PAWS can give each animal a real chance at a happy and healthy life while waiting for their forever homes.
