At Pelsbarn, our love for dogs goes beyond the products we create. We believe that every pup deserves to feel safe, loved, and cared for, especially those who haven't yet found their forever home. This August, we made a donation to an incredible organization: Solplassen.
Who Is Solplassen?
Solplassen is more than just a shelter, it’s a beautiful sanctuary for dogs in need. Located in Norway, Solplassen (which means “The Sunny Place”) offers a safe haven for abandoned dogs, senior dogs, and those in transition between homes. Run by a team of dedicated volunteers, the organization works around the clock to make sure that each dog receives the love, cuddles and attention they deserve.
Their mission is simple but heartfelt: every dog matters.
What We Donated
In August, with the help of your continued support, we were able to donate products to help keep the dogs at Solplassen cozy and safe.

Car Beds and Safety Seat Belts for safe and cozy travels to and from the vet or new homes, ensuring secure transportation for every pup

Calming Blankets offering comfort to anxious or nervous dogs

Orthopedic Beds supporting joints and sore muscles

Original Calming Beds are a warm, soft place for rest, especially for dogs recovering from trauma

For dogs who have been abandoned or mistreated, a calm and comfortable space can make all the difference. Our donation isn’t just about products—it’s about making sure that every dog knows that they are safe and loved.
