Every year, Independence Day reminds us of freedom, sacrifice, and the strength of those who serve our country. But this year, we wanted to take it one step further — by standing not just with our veterans, but with the forgotten shelter dogs who are waiting for a second chance.
At Pelsbarn, we believe every dog deserves love, safety, and a place to call home. That’s why this 4th of July, we’re proud to support K9s For Warriors, an incredible organization that rescues shelter dogs and trains them to become life-saving service animals for veterans with PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, and military sexual trauma.
